All about us
Citizens Advice South Gloucestershire was originally formed in 1974.
We are an independent local charity providing free, impartial advice and information on a whole range of topics.
We are funded almost entirely from local sources – South Gloucestershire Council, Town & Parish Councils, grants from other local bodies and donations from members of the public.
We have a team of carefully selected and trained staff and volunteers who ensure that everyone in South Gloucestershire has easy access to high quality advice to help resolve their problems.
We are governed by a local Board of Trustees. Our trustees have close links with the community in South Gloucestershire and are responsible to Citizens Advice and the Charity Commission for ensuring that the service we provide meets, as far as possible, the advice needs of South Gloucestershire residents.
