Why give £1? In 2023, there is an estimated 299,072 people living in South Gloucestershire. Any one of those may need our help at any time of their lives.
If every person in our county contributes just £1 (or say £5 for everyone in your household), we will have raised enough money for our central costs for the year! Every year, we continue to provide free advice to anyone in South Gloucestershire who needs it.
We are an independent charity reliant on individual donations and the local need is only increasing. At the start of our financial year (April 2023), we are asking everyone in South Gloucestershire to give just a £1! Your £1 will help cover our core costs to keep our services going.
Your money would support our core costs which are harder to fundraise for. These are items such as: rental costs to keep our venues going to keep providing face-to-face advice, recruitment and training costs to our incredible volunteers, staff salaries (including pensions and National Insurance), IT and office equipment, telephone and internet fees, electricity and maintenance, training materials, governance fees (like auditing).
