Winter Fuel Payments interview – our charity on BBC Radio Bristol

Our charity was very pleased to be invited by BBC Radio Bristol to speak on the proposed changes to Winter Fuel Payments today (10/09/24).

We’ve seen a big increase (65%) in numbers of people coming to us for help with Pension Credit since the announcement Winter Fuel Payments will only be made to those on means-tested benefits.

We are keen to get the word out about Pension Credit given the news – especially as there’s £5.2 million worth of Pension Credit unclaimed in South Gloucestershire alone according to Policy In Practice.
