Citizens Advice helplines

Local Adviceline – 0808 278 7947

This service from us at Citizens Advice South Gloucestershire will be closed from 5pm on Monday 23rd December 2024 and re-opens at 9am on Thursday 2nd January 2025.

National Adviceline – 0800 144 88 48

This service will be closed from 5pm on Monday 23rd December 2024 and re-opens at 9am on Thursday 2nd January 2025.

Consumer helpline – 0808 223 11 33

This service will be open shorter hours on Tuesday 24th December and Tuesday 31st December (9am to 1pm), as well as being closed on 25th December, 26th December and 1st January – but otherwise will operate 9am to 5pm as normal.

Help to Claim (Universal Credit) – 0800 144 84 44

This service is closed on bank holidays and weekends – and in addition will be closed on Friday 27th December 2024. It will be open from 8am to 6pm on the 30th and 8am to 5pm on 31st December 2024, before going back to normal (8am to 6pm) from 2nd January 2025.

Help to Claim will be closed from 5pm on Tuesday 24th December 2024 until 8am on Monday 30th December 2025.

It will then close from 5pm on Tuesday 31st December 2024 and re-open at 8am on Thursday 2nd January 2025.
