Charity has busiest year ever as it meets rising demand for help amid cost-of-living crisis

May saw 37% more clients than May 2023 (836 compared to 610) indicating the cost-of-living crisis is not over
April saw a 64.2% rise in client numbers compared to April 2023 – after March mirrored the numbers for the same month in the previous year.
February 2024 stopped short of January both in terms of client numbers and percentage increase on the same month the previous year.
December 2023 saw significantly more clients helped by our charity than the previous December – at 610 compared to 376, a 62% increase.
October 2023 was our busiest month on record for cost-of-living issues. There were more than 250 of the “top five” key cost-of-living issues
We saw a 22% increase in the number of clients helped by our team in September compared to September 2022.
