    Tough Mudder

    • Citizens Advice South Gloucestershire is taking part in the 2025 South West 5K Tough Mudder
    • Anyone wanting to join in can get a place for £30 (instead of £95) and be part of a great team on the day
    • The charity asks for a fundraising target of £300

Anyone wanting to take on a tough, muddy obstacle course for a great cause has the opportunity to do the Tough Mudder for a reduced entry fee.

Citizens Advice South Gloucestershire is looking for brave participants for the 2025 South West 5K Tough Mudder.

The charity provides vital advice on subjects such as benefits, debt and housing to anyone who needs it in South Gloucestershire.

It is an independent charity and completely reliant on donations and grants to keep providing its services.

In recent years, teams have taken on the Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge walk, Bristol 10K run, Bath Half Marathon and 12 Dips of Christmas cold water swimming challenge for the charity.

This year, it is encouraging people to try the Tough Mudder – due to be held at Badminton Estate, South Gloucestershire on 16th August.

Take part in the Tough Mudder for less

Participants running for the charity will be able to take part for £30 instead of the current entry fee of £95.

They will be asked to have a fundraising target of £300 in sponsorship.

Citizens Advice South Gloucestershire CEO Chantal Watts said: “We’ve had tremendous success with our sponsored challenges over the past few years.

“This year, we wanted to take on a new event – the Tough Mudder. If you like the idea of a fun challenge – all while being part of a great team and for an important cause – then this is for you.

“Please sign up via our website as soon as possible if you are interested so we can secure our places with Tough Mudder.”

Anyone interested is asked to sign up via the link on the charity’s website: https://www.southgloscab.org.uk/choose-your-challenge/tough-mudder/
